Restaurant Week Columbus is the perfect opportunity to dine at the city's finest restaurants for a great cause. Each Restaurant Week, a $5,000 donation is presented to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank on behalf of the participating restaurants, sponsors and diners. In addition to the donation, the staff of (614) Magazine volunteers at the Foodbank the day the check is presented.

"Every $1 donated enables the Mid-Ohio Foodbank to distribute $8 worth of food. So, Restaurant Week Columbus has a huge impact," said Evelyn Behm of the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.

"Besides the contribution that did so much to get the word out about the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, it is great to know that premier restaurants support the cause - and it is great for diners as well. We love being affiliated with the event and are thrilled it will happen again."

Restaurant Week Columbus has contributed over $25,000 to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank or $200,000 worth of food to date.

The Mid-Ohio Foodbank is dedicated to feeding hungry people by collecting and distributing food and grocery products, educating the community about hunger, advocating for hunger-relief programs, and collaborating with others who address basic human needs.
